Vintage Persian LORI RUG, appx 55 years old. Hand woven by individuals living in Lorestan within the western portion of Iran. This rug in plans and styles is comparable to those made by the Kurds.  This carpet is woven with high-quality taking after the time-honored tradition that has been given down from era to era over centuries. It has a geometric pattern and dark red/maroon background with navy and indigo with bits of teal, pink and yellow.
The pile material is 100% natural fine wool and the foundation is made of natural cotton.
