Mid century modern armchair by Vancouver’s Cyril G. Burch. Beautiful curved lines on these solid maple pieces. Gorgeous construction features solid teak exposed dowels and joinery inlay. These chairs were made for Simpson’s department store, contract division. 

Cyril G. Burch started Cyril G. Burch Ltd. upholsterers with his brother James in 1947 in West Vancouver. The Company manufactured contemporary furniture for offices, restaurants and hotels!

These have been recently reupholstered in a genuine ostrich leather in black. The original tags and manufacturers labels maintained and exposed.
